Job Description

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Customer Service Assistant for our client in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, onsite, temporary position.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Customer Service Assistant supports customers with online purchases and inquiries, primarily through email and phone communication. They manage orders using a POS system, track shipments, and help resolve claims in a professional and timely manner. Experience in eCommerce is essential, as the role involves handling fulfillment updates and inventory tasks. Additionally, the assistant supports pop-up events and contributes to operational logistics as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support for online shoppers, answering questions and guiding them through the purchasing process
  • Handle customer communication via phone and email, ensuring prompt and helpful responses
  • Enter and manage orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Track deliveries and coordinate with fulfillment teams to keep customers informed
  • Assist with inventory tasks and help set up and staff occasional pop-up shop events
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints or claims with professionalism and care

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Previous experience in eCommerce retail or customer service
  • Proficient in POS systems, eCommerce platforms, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of order processing, fulfillment, shipping, and receiving
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently

COMPENSATION

This position offers an hourly range of $21-$23/hour!
