Position Overview:

As our Service Writer, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers — helping them feel welcome, understood, and confident about their vehicle repairs. You’ll coordinate between customers and technicians, prepare estimates, schedule appointments, and ensure that each job runs smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and warmth.
• Listen to vehicle concerns and accurately document repair needs.
• Prepare repair orders and estimates for customer approval.
• Communicate clearly with technicians and keep customers updated on progress.
• Manage scheduling, parts orders, and workflow in the shop.
• Maintain accurate records and process payments.
• Promote maintenance services and build long-term relationships with customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in automotive customer service preferred.
• Basic understanding of automotive repair terminology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Proficient with computers (shop management software experience a plus).
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
