Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor for private instructions at our boutique studio in the heart of Key West. The ideal candidate is able to work independently and will have a strong background in Pilates, along with a solid understanding of body mechanics and anatomy. As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging classes that promote classical Pilates principles, while incorporating other modalities to increase our clients' strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. You will play a vital role in educating clients about the benefits of Pilates and helping them achieve their fitness goals in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective Reformer Pilates programs tailored to various skill levels and individual needs.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety for all participants.
• Educate clients on body mechanics, anatomy, and the principles of Pilates to enhance their understanding and performance.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages first-time participation, return visits, and subscription signups.
• Monitor client progress, providing feedback and modifications as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Collaborate with local fitness professionals and the community promote the studio.
• Maintain studio equipment and cleanliness and organization of the studio.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience as a 1:1 Pilates Instructor.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science.
• Certification from an accredited organization is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively.
• A passion for health and wellness with a commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals.
• High degree of accountability and reliability.
