Medical Director, Alzheimer’s disease & Dementia, Clinical Development
About This Role:
As a Medical Director in the Alzheimer’s disease & Dementia Unit (ADDU), you will play a pivotal role in advancing Biogen’s innovative programs targeting Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative conditions. Working across early and late-stage development, you will serve as the clinical development representative on cross-functional Study Management Teams (SMTs), helping to drive the strategic and operational execution of our clinical development plans.
This position demands strong scientific expertise, exceptional communication, and a high degree of independence. You must be proactive, detail-oriented, dependable, and solution-focused—able to act decisively within your remit while recognizing when to seek input. Flexibility and adaptability are critical in our dynamic environment, as is the ability to lead collaboratively while navigating ambiguity.
You will contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of Clinical Development Plans (CDPs) that include clear decision points and criteria for progression. Your contributions will not only shape the trajectory of our Alzheimer’s portfolio but also support early research, external collaborations, and due diligence evaluations.

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
