Hiring for Junior Analyst – Program & Project Management (Device Security)

Location: Hybrid – Basking Ridge, NJ (Minimum 2–3 days/week onsite required)

Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours per week

About the Role:

Join Device Security Team, where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that all new devices released to the market meet Verizon’s rigorous security standards. You will assist in managing the device security and risk assessment program, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure issues are addressed without delaying product launches.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining a strong attention to detail. You’ll use your project management skills to track the security evaluation of devices , maintain documentation, and prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist senior staff in overseeing the end-to-end device security and risk assessment process.
• Track new device submissions to the security team, ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved before launch.
• Collaborate with multiple teams including product, engineering, QA, and the security team to keep projects on track.
• Monitor timelines and provide updates to ensure all security reviews are completed in alignment with the product release schedule.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets and dashboards to track progress and issues.
• Develop PowerPoint presentations to clearly communicate the status of each device to stakeholders in regular meetings.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and improve device security assessment processes.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project or program coordination/management.
• Familiarity with productivity tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow procedures carefully and keep meticulous records.
• Quick learner and adaptable to new tools, processes, or requirements.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred) Qualifications:

• Degree in a STEM-related field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
• Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles and device platforms (Android, iOS, etc.).
• Understanding of secure development lifecycle or mobile device management practices.
• Industry certifications such as PMP, Security+, CEH, ISC2 CC, or CISSP.

Work Arrangement:

This is a hybrid position based out of Basking Ridge, NJ. You’ll be required to work onsite 2–3 days per week (minimum of 8 days/month) as set by your manager.
