Job Title: Housing Case Manager

Location: Orlando, FL 32817

Pay: $23/hour

M-F Schedule

Benefits: Healthcare stipend, PTO and Paid Holidays

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a compassionate and organized Housing Case Manager to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness. In this role, you'll help clients access safe, stable housing and connect them with the resources they need to achieve long-term stability. You’ll provide personalized case management using trauma-informed, housing-first principles and work closely with landlords, community partners, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of up to 20-30 individuals or families.
  • Work collaboratively with participants to overcome barriers to housing.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized housing stability plans.
  • Apply best practices including Housing First, Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Help clients identify personal goals and create action plans for housing, income, and wellbeing.
  • Assist with housing searches, applications, and move-ins.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, landlords, utility companies, and service providers.
  • Provide referrals to mental health, employment, education, and other support services.
  • Complete timely data entry and maintain accurate records in HMIS (Homeless Management Information System).
  • Attend case conferences, service coordination meetings, and professional development trainings.
  • Transport clients as needed and provide community-based support.

Education & Experience:

Required: Associate’s degree or equivalent college credits in a social services-related field.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

At least 2 years of case management experience or similar supportive role.

Experience working with individuals and families experiencing homelessness is a plus.

Experience with Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing, or Coordinated Entry systems is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to travel within the Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties.

Ability to use a personal vehicle for work-related travel.

Must be able to transport clients when needed.

Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
