Mechanic Requirements:
ASE Diesel/Auto Certification advantageous.
Valid driver & license CDL.
5+ yrs experience overhauling Cummins, Detroit, International, Mack, Mercedes, Caterpillar
Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components.
Good IT and diagnostic skills.
Using hand tools
Physically fit and able to lift up to 100 pounds.
Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools.
Attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills.
Verbal communication skills.
Perform other tasks designated by management

• Keeping equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Completing adjustments and alignments
• Verifying vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
• Complying with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and
combustion control standards.
• Maintaining vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
• Keeping shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting
breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; report of equipment in need of repairs.
• Keeping supplies ready by placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications.
