You will oversee the Nursing Department Education, ensure in-service trainings and competencies are compliant on aa monthly basis. You will make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Executive Director as necessary concerning the operations of the nursing department. Planning, developing, organizing, implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department as well as implementing policies and procedures in accordance with the governing rules. Requirements: Health and Nursing Services Director (RN) Qualifications: At least 2 years' experience as a Health/Nursing Services Director in a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMRHF) or a DON/ADON in a long-term care facility preferred. Minimum 5 years of nursing experience. Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois in good standing. Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare). Ability to build rapport with consumers, family and staff.
