About the Data Integration Specialist Position

The Data Integration Specialist I will be responsible for developing standard and custom deliverables and Excel-like tools within DESTINI software. This role requires a strong understanding of construction formulas, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into user-friendly output and tools.

Although this position is based in Dallas, Texas, we have a hybrid work environment and support flexible and full-time remote US-based team members. This role will report to the Content & Enablement Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop standard and custom deliverables including Excel-like tools and cost databases including assemblies.
• Create and maintain Excel-like output within the software program to support data entry and data analysis within the program and reporting needs.
• Lead customer-facing scoping meetings to gather requirements for deliverables.
• Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless integration of tools and output.
• Utilize construction formulas and industry knowledge to develop accurate and relevant solutions.
• Develop visual aids to explain construction components and their correlation to the assemblies built.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of deliverables to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Conduct peer review of deliverables.
• Provide support to end-users on deliverables and tools.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve integration tools and reporting solutions.
• Participate in pre-release testing of new DESTINI product offerings.
• Attend internal meetings for team coordination and information sharing.
• Master Beck Technology's product offerings.
• Communicate with fellow team members via chat, email, phone, and face to face meetings.

Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proven experience developing custom excel-type reports and tools within software programs.
• In-depth knowledge of construction formulas and industry-specific reporting requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of construction components and how they work together to complete a full system (example: the elements and calculations needed to build a slab on grade).
• Understanding of the use of SQL type variables and formulas.
• Strong proficiency gathering requirements from customers and internal team members and executing on those requirements.
• Strong proficiency importing and exporting data between systems.
• Strong proficiency with vlookup and matching data in Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency documenting the steps taken to arrive at a final deliverable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to follow a process, follow standards, and deliver results on time.
• Ability to receive peer review feedback and make modifications as necessary.
• Experience with DESTINI software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with metric measurements and calculations.
• Experience using Azure Dev Ops and Jira.
• Experience working remotely.

30-60-90 Day Goals

Within 30 days - successfully complete DESTINI Estimator self-paced training and pass with an 80% score.

Within 30 days - be able to design and develop a line-item database in DESTINI Estimator Data Manager.

Within 60 days - be able to understand basic user functionality of DESTINI Estimator.

Within 90 days - be able to design, develop, and review assembly content in DESTINI Data Manager.

Within 90 days - master Beck Technology's product offerings and demonstrate the technology to your leaders.
