Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Bridge Professional Engineer for a women-owned civil engineering firm dedicated to IMPROVING LIVES in the communities we serve. Their services span transportation, traffic, structural, water and wastewater engineering, survey, mobile LiDAR, and construction inspection. As a Bridge PE, you’ll lead structural and transportation engineering projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and innovation.

This is a full time role paying between $90,000 to $130,000. Candidates must be able to work without sponsorship

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering analysis, design and plan production for structural projects, including transportation-related structures and stormwater/wastewater infrastructure
• Perform engineering analysis, design and plan production for transportation engineering projects, including roadways, highways, drainage, erosion control and traffic control
• Create job specifications and contract documents for bidding purposes
• Calculate quantities and construction cost estimates
• Use experience and skills to provide deliverables as outlined in project scope, within budget and on schedule
• Lead project team in quality control process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
• PE Certification
• 5+ years in structural bridge design

Skills:

• Proficiency in LEAP Bridge, MicroStation, AutoCAD
• Familiarity with AASHTO, MUTCD, APWA standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
