Job Description

The Associate Planner will work with the Retail Planner in facilitating the growth of their account base. They will perform in depth analysis as well as topline projections to achieve financial targets and goals. The Associate Planner will be working closely with account Buyers/Planners as well as internal cross-functional teams to drive volume and grow the business.

Responsibilities:

• Create and propose seasonal/annual financial plans with a clear strategy, in partnership with Sales and Demand Planning
• Develop and maintain sales, inventory, and receipt ladder plans to drive both external and internal annual plans
• Maintain by account seasonal Open – To – Buys and be able to communicate risk to the budget based on trend
• Analyze performance and make assortment recommendations and sales re-projections based on history and seasonal trend
• Analyze internal inventory and order reports to determine weekly/monthly inventory flow, optimal safety stock levels, and buy quantities needed to recover weeks of supply
• Provide ad hoc analysis to help drive the business forward and/or address issues as they arise
• Participate in market appointments by providing business updates and assortment proposal based on historical data and market analysis
• Bring a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to your responsibilities every day

Qualifications:

• BA or BS
• 2+ years of experience in related role/industry
• Strong Excel and retail math skills
• Strong PowerPoint skills
• SAP/IBP experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask, have a high sense of urgency, and adapt to change in priorities as needed
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Annual salary range starting $75,000
